Liberian Ministry & Missionary

For many years Grace Church has supported the work of The Episcopal Church of Liberia, including sponsorship of parishioner Christopher "Kit" Cone as an unpaid volunteer missionary at Phebe Hospital in Liberia. The church’s participation has included sponsorship of emergency food distributions in times of civil strife, financial support for scholarships, and underwriting the cost of nurses’ salaries at Phebe Hospital. Grace Church parishioners have supported container shipments of food, clothing, textbooks, kitchen utensils and other necessities. In addition, three parishioners have traveled at their own expense to assist in this ministry on a short-term basis.
